Spring, Summer of 2020 Personal Testimony
At a point in time when the COVID 19 virus was in full bloom in church one Sunday morning God said to every one come to the altar that he was calling his church to holiness and a fresh covering of the blood.
I didn’t go up, I didn’t want to get in a large gathering of many people, fear. But you see as the old saying goes, “if you give the devil an inch he will take a mile”.
In my sleep one night God dealt with me harshly he kept bringing this up on and off all night long. I repented for not obeying the call. He gave me Naaman’s example in the word when Naaman asked: II Ki 5:18 "Yet in this thing may the LORD pardon your servant: when my master goes into the temple of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow down in the temple of Rimmon-- when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the LORD please pardon your servant in this thing." (NKJ)
The next Sunday I knelt at the altar and asked for forgiveness and God forgave me, that sure felt good what a relief praise the Lord.
