My Personal Testimonies

Thank God for his word. Thank God for Jesus the New Testament and a new and better covenant so we have the Holy Spirit within us and he can speak to our hearts. Lets not forget the New Testament is predicated on the Old Testament and the things in the Old Testament are for us today also. God told us a long time ago that if we would follow his leading and do the work that he has called us to do that we would be blessed and the area here would be blessed because of us.

I bought some land to build a house on and to me anyway, land is no good if you don’t have water. After church one day I came to the altar and inquired of the pastor/prophet “Father what about water on this land?” The word the prophet had for me was when you get ready I will show you right where to drill. The day came for me to mark the spot for the well driller to set up. So I got the pastor out on the property he went to the spot where the Lord told him the well should be drilled. The well was drilled 75’ deep and came in at 8 plus gallons a minute.

This is not the end of the story. When we got ready to use the water and found out the water left an orange color residue it turned out there was too much iron in the water. At this point in time you might in the natural want to think this whole thing was a mistake and you missed it with God. But God has told us that we have the victory. If that is in your heart, you keep on keeping on. I went to our local county heath department and they looked up the drillers log on this well and remarked “your well is in the aquifer” pump it and it will clear up or filter it. I decided to use a filter and use the well immediately and we now have an abundant supply of good clear water. When God tells us we have the victory believe him, follow his leading and you will be blessed.

I HAD A BAD BACK. FOR MOST OF MY LIFE MY LOWER BACK WAS VERY WEAK. MANY YEARS AGO TIME AFTER TIME WHEN I TURNED JUST RIGHT, LIFTED SOMETHING HEAVY, MOVED IN A CERTAIN WAY, I WOULD BE HURTING BAD FOR MANY WEEKS AT A TIME. THE LAST TIME I GOT IN TROUBLE WAS AT WORK. I DID SOMETHING THAT CAUSED MY BACK TO GO OUT OF JOINT. IT WAS SO BAD THIS TIME THAT I COULDN'T STRAIGHTEN UP. IT WAS NEAR THE END OF THE WORK DAY SO I WAS ABLE TO LEAVE THE JOB SITE WITHOUT ANYONE KNOWING WHAT SHAPE I WAS IN. I WENT STRAIGHT TO DR. ______ AN OSTEOPATH. HE TOOK A LOOK AT ME AND SAID "STEP IN HERE, AND TAKE YOUR COAT OFF." I WAS HURTING SO BAD THAT I COULD NOT TAKE MY COAT OFF. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO MOVE MY ARMS THAT MUCH. DR ______ HAD TO DO IT FOR ME. AFTER THAT INCIDENT I WAS EXTREMELY CAREFUL. I DEVELOPED A LIFESTYLE TO COMPENSATE FOR THE PROBLEM. WHEN I PICKED UP ANYTHING HEAVY I LIFTED WITH MY LEGS. NEVER BENT MY BACK. IF I HAD TO TURN MY BODY TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT I ALWAYS TURNED MY WHOLE BODY. NEVER TURNED MY BACK. THIS BECAME A DEVELOPED LIFE STYLE TO THE POINT WHERE I HAD ALL BUT FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE PROBLEM. IN THE LATE EIGHTIES AT MY HOME CHURCH IN SYRACUSE, N.Y. AN EVANGELIST TERRY ALLEN WAS MINISTERING, ONE SUNDAY MORNING HAD AN ALTAR CALL AND PRAYED FOR PEOPLE. MAYBE SOME OF YOU KNOW HIM. HE IS FROM SOME WHERE IN THE CAROLINAS. ANYWAY I WAS IN HIS HEALING LINE SEEKING PRAYER FOR THE RINGING IN MY EARS. I STOOD IN FRONT OF HIM AND HE RECEIVED A WORD FROM THE LORD. HE SAID ""YOU HAVE A LOWER BACK PROBLEM AND THE LORD IS HEALING IT RIGHT NOW." AND PRAISE GOD HE WAS RIGHT ON AND I RECEIVED MY HEALING!

AT THIS SAME TIME I WAS TAPING CEILING SHEET ROCK SEAMS. WHILE STANDING ON A LADDER I WOULD TURN MY WHOLE BODY AS I WORKED FROM SIDE TO SIDE. AFTER THE LORD HEALED ME I COULD LEAVE MY FEET PLANTED ON THE STEP LADDER AND TWIST AND TURN MY BACK JUST LIKE ANY NORMAL PERSON. PRAISE THE LORD FOREVER MORE!

IT HAS BEEN MANY YEARS NOW AND MY BACK IS GREAT. GOD IS GOOD AND I JUST HAD TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT HIS GOODNESS

Many years ago I belonged to a church in the Syracuse, N.Y. area *and the pastor taught on tithing and ministered in the power of the Holy Spirit. I was tithing, so I thought, and by the power of the Holy Spirit one Sunday morning the pastor had a word for me. Right in front of everybody the spirit of God said "you have robbed me." Brother I tell you I would have liked to melted and disappeared into thin air. I was so embarrassed. I'll bet my face was red. It turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened in my life. I had to examine myself. I had been tithing in every area of my finances but one. I had one thing going that was a losing proposition. I had to put money into it every month to keep it going and I didn't tithe on the income this enterprise did bring in. Well I am here to tell you I did after that and the circumstances in this area turned around and came up on the plus side. Not only that blessing but later on one Sunday morning this same pastor had a word from the Lord for me and God said "I am going to give you a financial blessing and soon.' In my heart I said thank you Father God. We came home from church that day, had Sunday dinner and the phone rang. I received a gift, some land given to me that later on I sold. I tell you God is Good and it pays to go to a church where the spirit of God is free to move and bring correction. I have been abundantly, supernaturally, financially blessed for many years now. PRAISE GOD! HE HONORS HIS WORD ABOVE ALL HIS NAME.

When you are eight hundred miles away from your home and another three hundred miles away from your destination, not familiar with any of your surroundings, five pm at night, with a car that has ninety thousand plus miles on it, and you step down on the accelerator, the engine revved up, but the car barely moves forward, an indescribable sinking feeling came over both of us. It was hard for us to enjoy supper and sleep that night.

That night I called the pastor back home and asked him to seek God about our situation. The word he received was, it (the car) will get you there and home, at low speeds there is a problem but when you step down on it there is more pressure on the screen and fluid will go through. Question, should I bind up the enemy over it? Answer, yes. I was still a little uncomfortable about the low speed problem so again I said Father I don’t want to miss it. Exactly what is the best way to pray over this? Confess that the transmission is functioning perfectly the way it was made to. The fluid is flowing freely and the screen (filter) is clean.

The next morning we went to a garage in Kingsport, Tenn I told the owner this was an ’02 Buick with ninety thousand plus miles on it and what was going on and he told me it was going to be bad. I said how about the filter being plugged? He said, “no, if it were a Chrysler product, yes, but being a GM product that won’t be the case, it will be very serious. When my technician gets back I will have him drive it.” Soon after the technician got in the car and drove it. He stepped down on the accelerator and the same thing happened, the car should have been moving at twenty miles an hour, but was only moving about five miles an hour. He stopped the car, pulled the shifting lever down into low gear and the car started off normal and then manually shifted it through the gears back to drive. He did this twice and the car responded ok. Then he stopped the car again and left it in drive stepped down on the accelerator and it spun the tires. He said it was the solenoid that shifts the transmission, or perhaps the computer reset or something broke lose. He went on to say there is nothing major wrong with this transmission, continue on with your trip, and if it bothers again shift it through the gears manually. We drove the car another three hundred miles that day to our destination and later another eleven hundred miles back home and have never had to shift it through the gears. There have been no problems since. God gave us people that prayed and we received a miracle and we know it. God gave us people that prayed and we thank him and obedient saints for that.

That just brings to remembrance how blessed I am. Before the first time the stock market took a nose dive God had previously blessed me with a substantial inheritance of mostly stock and I was sitting on it at the time. I am so blessed that I attend a church where there are two powerful prophets. Anyway a few months before the market took a dive God by the power of the Holy Spirit told the church body that if any were invested in the stock market it would be wise to get out. I took that word seriously and sold Microsoft, Compass Bank, Fidelity, General Electric, and AIG. At that time in the natural that would not be a wise thing to do since I would use the money for a three family house that we would live in and the two rentals would not return nearly as much as the stock appreciates in value and dividends. Anyway I took that word seriously sold the stock and purchased almost three acres of land, bought two modelers and put them end to end making a three family house. We now have two apartments we rent and live in another which is a full size house. After the market took a dive and never came back to what it was concerning the stocks I held, I did the math and told my wife that today we would only have just a little over half of what we have this day if God hadn’t warned us and I had not heeded the word. A very good example of that is the GE. It is selling today for fourteen dollars and change. I sold for $32.30. So far it has never come back to that point maybe it will again but not so far. Today I can say THANK YOU FATHER GOD!

Driveway – Over 15 year ago after our garage, had built my capital finances were spent out. Back when my wife’s elderly mother was alive she called her mother everyday to check on her. One day her mother said, I had a dream last night that you had a blacktop driveway so my wife tells me this.

A blacktop driveway at that time was completely out of my ballpark, my finances were spent out we were living from month to month. That dream was so many years ago but I held on to that dream, I knew it was God, blacktop at that time was way out of my reach. It took me years to get into a financial position where it could be considered and still I wouldn’t have tried to go for it but because of that dream and I knew it was God, I didn’t let go.

Blacktop being expensive and we have a very large parking area with much distance between the garage and the house plus we are 200 feet back from the road.

After all back when I graduated, I tell people I am as old as dirt, I went to work for $1.35 an hour so some of my social security retirement is based on that, it doesn’t add up to what you need in today’s world, it wouldn’t buy you an ice cream cone. As a result we don’t have tons of discretionary spending.

Anyway we got a price quote for the blacktop job and it was beyond my reach by a long shot. The guy refrigerated the price and gave what he called a senior discount but it still was too much, so we had parking area done one year and the driveway between the house and the road the next year.

But if it were not for that dream God gave my mother-in-law, and I knowing in my heart it was from God, this would never have taken place.

So now you have heard my driveway story, what I would like you to take away from this experience is, if God has given you words, dreams or visions in the past don’t give up on them.

Bare in mind they might not just be dumped in your lap, that can happen, but many times it takes effort on our part to bring them to pass. I have had other financial blessings over the years but there were many mountains in the way but God is a mountain mover.
