WHAT DID HE DO?? THE WORD SAYS HE HEALED THEM!! NOT SOME OF THEM. HE HEALED THEM PERIOD!!
I LIKE THE WAY PAUL DESCRIBES JESUS MINISTRY IN COLOSSIANS 2:15
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, [[ He made a public spectacle of them,]] triumphing over them in it.
ISN'T THAT GOOD? DON'T YOU LIKE IT WHEN THE DEVIL AND HIS BOYS GET EXPOSED?
"HE MADE A PUBLIC SPECTACLE OF THEM."
BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THE LORD HAS TOLD US WE ARE GOING TO ENJOY BATTLING OR OUR CONFRONTATION WITH THE DEVIL. I BELIEVE THAT'S THE WAY HE PUT IT. WHY? WE WIN EVERY TIME. PRAISE GOD!! DON'T YOU LIKE BEING ON A WINNING TEAM? GO WITH JESUS. JESUS IS THE WINNER.

Matt 8:28 When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. (NKJ)

WHILE WE ARE ON THIS SUBJECT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH YOU. IN THE LATE EIGHTIES WE ATTENDED A CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC CONFERENCE AT LE MOYNE COLLEGE IN SYRACUSE, N.Y. THIS WAS OUR FIRST EXPOSURE TO THAT BEAUTIFUL PRAISE AND WORSHIP MUSIC. THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT WERE IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. THAT IS IF SOMEONE HAD A WORD FROM THE LORD THEY WOULD HAVE TO WRITE IT OUT, THEN TAKE IT BEFORE A PANEL. THE PANEL THEN WOULD DETERMINE IF IT COULD BE GIVEN OR NOT. INDIVIDUAL PRAYER, HEALING, ETC, WAS DONE BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. NOT IN THE OPEN. THAT EXPERIENCE LEFT ME HUNGRY. THAT WORSHIP MUSIC, BUT WHERE, OH WHERE COULD I FIND IT? WE ENDED UP IN A LITTLE FULL GOSPEL IN THE SYRACUSE, NY AREA.

THIS IS THE FIRST DELIVERANCE I EVER EXPERIENCED.
WHILE WE ARE ON THIS SUBJECT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH YOU. BACK IN THE EIGHTIES MY WIFE WERE ATTENDING THE FIRST FULL GOSPEL WE BECAME A PART OF IN THE SYRACUSE, N.Y. AREA. THE PASTOR PREACH BUY MUCH IT WAS TEACHING. PRAISE GOD. GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED AND WHEN YOU NEED IT. WE HAD ONLY BEEN ATTENDING THIS LITTLE FULL GOSPEL CHURCH A SHORT TIME WHEN DURING THE WORSHIP SERVICE, (BY THE WAY WORSHIP SERVICE WAS AN HOUR AND A HALF LONG, ONLY ONE SERVICE ON SUNDAY) AND DURING THE WORSHIP SERVICE ON THIS PARTICULAR SUNDAY A DEMON SPIRIT STARTED TORMENTING THIS PRETTY YOUNG CHRISTIAN GIRL. SHE HAD TWO REAL NICE CHILDREN. THEY SAT IN FRONT OF US EVERY WEEK. HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW DEMON SPIRIT'S GET ALL STIRRED UP WHEN THEY ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD? MANY PEOPLE WILL TELL YOU A CHRISTIAN CAN'T HAVE A DEMON. DON'T BELIEVE IT FOR A MINUTE! THAT TEACHING NEVER HAD A CHANCE WITH ME. BUT IF I HADN'T EXPERIENCED THIS MORE THAN ONCE I COULD HAVE BOUGHT INTO THIS UNTRUTH. ANYWAY WHEN A PROBLEM CAME UP IN THIS CHURCH THEY TOOK CARE OF IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE. THEY EXPECTED ALL BELIEVERS TO BE DOERS OF THE WORD. MOST OF THE TIME THEY WOULD MINISTER VERY OPENLY. HALF OF THE TIME THE PASTOR WOULD STEP ASIDE AND THE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH WOULD DO THE MINISTERING. THAT WAS THE CASE THIS TIME. ABOUT FIVE WOMEN MINISTERED TO THIS GAL. SHE SPIT AT THEM, BARFED, THE WHOLE NINE YARDS. IN ABOUT FIFTEEN MINUTES SHE WAS DELIVERED. THE FUNNY PART WAS WHEN THEY STARTED MINISTERING THIS DELIVERANCE THE PASTOR SAID "ANYONE WHO ISN'T FAMILIAR WITH THESE THINGS STAY BACK OUT OF THE WAY." MY WIFE AND I MOVED FROM WHERE WE WERE SITTING TO FURTHER BACK IN THE CHURCH. THE PASTOR CAME AROUND BEHIND US. MY WIFE DIDN'T SEE HIM. HE TAPPED HER ON THE SHOULDER AND ASKED HER IF EVERY THING WAS ALL RIGHT. MY WIFE ALMOST CAME OUT OF HER SKIN. ON THE WAY HOME ABOUT A FORTY FIVE MINUTE DRIVE, NORMALLY WE WOULD TALK ABOUT WHAT WENT ON IN CHURCH. THIS TIME DEAD SALIENCE. FINALLY MY WIFE SAID "WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?" I HAD TO REPLY I DON'T KNOW BUT THOSE WOMEN MINISTERING SURE LOOKED LIKE THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. MOST OF THESE PEOPLE BECAME OUR VERY BEST FRIENDS THAT WE HAVE EVER HAD IN OUR LIVES. PRAISE GOD. THEY STILL LOVE DOING THE WORKS OF JESUS. JUST THINK WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN SOME DAY. YOU KNOW THAT'S THE ONLY THING YOUR GOING TO TAKE TO HEAVEN. ALL THE MATERIAL THING'S OF THIS EARTH WILL BE GONE. CHRISTIAN FRIENDS ARE FOREVER.

A LARGE PENTECOSTAL DENOMINATION, THEY HAVE CHURCHES IN EVERY CITY IN AMERICA. THERE ARE FOUR OF THEM RIGHT HERE IN THIS AREA DON'T BELIEVE A CHRISTIAN CAN HAVE A DEMON. THE DEVIL CAN HAVE A FIELD DAY WITH THAT CAN'T HE? NOW WE HAVE LOOKED AT HOW JESUS HANDLED THE DEVIL IN HIS OWN PERSONAL MINISTRY. BUT DID HE DO IT ALL?

IT MAKES YOU JOYFUL WHEN YOU CAN KNOCK THE STILTS OUT FROM UNDER THE DEVIL IN JESUS NAME.
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT AFTER WHAT THE DEVIL HAS STOLEN FROM ME I DON'T WANT TO MISS A CHANCE TO GET EVEN WITH HIM. I HATE THE DEVIL.
THESE SCRIPTURES DISPELS THE MYTH THAT DEVINE PHYSICAL HEALING WAS JUST FOR THE TWELVE APOSTLES AND ENDED AT THAT POINT.

OK LETS TALK A LITTLE BIT AT THIS POINT. I LIKE TO USE 90% SCRIPTURE AND 10% GIFT OF GAB. THIS IS THE OTHER. THE 10%

IF THE PERSON WHO WANTS DELIVERANCE IS NOT SERIOUS ABOUT MAKING A TURN A ROUND IN THEIR LIFE. THEY SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF A GREATER PROBLEM THAT COULD ARISE.
A DEAR SISTER IN CHRIST HAD THIS EXPERIENCE. SHE MINISTERED DELIVERANCE TO A LADY THAT LIVED IN AN APARTMENT HOUSE. WHEN THE GUY'S WIFE IN THE OTHER APARTMENT WENT TO VISIT RELATIVES SHE WOULD JUMP IN BED WITH HIM. THAT TYPE OF ACTIVITY LEAVES THE DOOR OPEN FOR THE WRONG SPIRITS TO ENTER THE PICTURE. THAT DOESN'T MEAN TO IMPLY THAT IS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT IT DID IN THIS CASE. THE LADY GOT DELIVERED. LATTER ON THE MANS WIFE LEFT AGAIN AND SHE JUMPED IN BED WITH HIM AGAIN. SHE REQUESTED DELIVERANCE AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME IT WAS A MESS. IT WAS JUST LIKE THIS SCRIPTURE VERSE "THE LAST STATE OF THE MAN WAS WORSE THAN THE FIRST." IT WAS A REAL TOUGH DELIVERANCE THE SECOND TIME AROUND. NOT A PLEASANT THING. I AM NOT SAYING THIS HAPPENS IN EVERY CASE. BUT IT CAN HAPPEN. IN THIS CASE IT DID.

WE HAVE JUST LOOKED AT MANY WORKS THAT JESUS PERFORMED. AND SOME THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN THE EARLY CHURCH AS THEY MINISTERED DELIVERANCE TO PEOPLE.

NOW AT THE END OF THE BOOK WE READ IN REVELATION THAT THE DEVIL GETS HIS DUE REWARD. CAST INTO THE BOTTOMLESS PIT AND INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.
REVELATION CHAPTER 20 VERSE 1
Rev 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (NKJ)
Rev 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
Rev 20:3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. (NKJ)
Rev 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (NKJ)
SO IN THE END THE DEVIL GETS HIS JUST REWARD. WE WILL PROBABLY GET TO SEE HIM.
