Exodus 12:3 "Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: 'On the tenth day of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.
Leviticus 17:11 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement ( remission ) for the soul.'
Exodus 12:13 'Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Under the new covenant Jesus blood has done it all for us.

The word says the blood has accomplished:

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been [[ justified ]] by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have [[ redemption ]] through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Hebrews 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might [[ sanctify ]] the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
