LET'S LOOK AT OUR ULTIMATE EXAMPLE TO GO BY. JESUS
JESUS HEALING MINISTRY
As we look at these people we will notice there are many different things going on in their lives but we are going to focus in on the fact that each one:
HAD A PROBLEM: either mental or physical and THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED
Yes there can be a hindrance to receiving a healing: unforgiveness in the heart, unbelief, etc.. These things can be worked out if we have a willing heart.
Before we go to the healing examples let's look at what Jesus said in John 14:12
"Most assuredly, I say to you, [[ he who believes in Me, ]] [[ the works that I do he will do also; ]] and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
That is so important lets read that again.
Take special note of "HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME" ( that's you and I folks ) and "THE WORKS THAT I DO HE WILL DO ALSO"
You are going to get excited when you look at the works Jesus did and realize this is for me.

Christian science .... heals through the mind.
Medical science ..... heals through the physical.
God ...................... heals by his SPIRIT.
Much of Jesus ministry here on earth was healing and deliverance. Let's look at some of it.

STARTING WITH THE FIRST GOSPEL
Matt 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and [[ healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease ]] among the people.
NOTICE ALL KINDS OF SICKNESS AND ALL KINDS OF DISEASES. YOU DON'T HAVE A SICKNESS THAT JESUS CAN'T HEAL.
24 Then [[ His fame went throughout all Syria;]] and they brought to Him [[ all ]] sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and [[ He healed them. ]]
IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG FOR HIS NAME TO GET AROUND WHEN MIRACLE HEALINGS AND DELIVERANCE TOOK PLACE. THERE WERE MANY NEEDS SAME TODAY.
Let's stay in the same book and jump up 4 chapters
Matt 8:2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, [[ if You are willing, ]] You can make me clean."
IS IT GOD'S WILL TO HEAL?
3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, [[ "I am willing; ]] be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Immediately.
IS IT GOD'S WILL TO HEAL THE SICK? THE LEPER SAID "LORD IF YOU ARE WILLING" JESUS SAID "I AM WILLING" PRAISE GOD !!!! CHARLES CAPPS SAY'S "IF YOU HAVE A RELATIVE WHO DIES AND YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S IN THE WILL YOU READ THE WILL." SAME THING WITH GOD'S WORD. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF IT'S GOD'S WILL TO HEAL YOU READ HIS WORD ON THE SUBJECT.
IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL. WE HAVE HIS WORD ON IT!

A JESUS STORY
Matt 8:5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,
6 saying, "Lord, [[ my servant is ]] lying at home [[ paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.]]"
7 And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
8 The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But [[ only speak a word , and my servant will be healed.]]
Matt 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And [[ his servant was healed that same hour ]].
IS IT POSSIBLE, FOR EXAMPLE, TO PRAY FOR SOMEONE'S HEALING OVER THE PHONE SAY N.Y. TO CALIFORNIA? YES !! YES !! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!
DID THE CENTURION BELIEVE GOD? HE SURE DID. JUST THINK OF ALL GOD WILL DO FOR US IF WE WILL ONLY BELIEVE HIM.

ANOTHER JESUS STORY
Matt 8:14 Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever.
15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And [[ she arose ]] and served them.
16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed [[ all ]] who were sick, [ [ ALL ] ]

DON'T YOU JUST LOVE JESUS STORIES?
Matt 9:2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you."
ONE OF THE VERY IMPORTANT KEYS ... [[[ THEIR FAITH ]]] JESUS SAW [[[ THEIR FAITH ]]] NOT SOMEONE ELSE'S FAITH BUT THEIRS.
Matt 9:6 "But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"-- then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."
7 And [[ he arose ]] and departed to his house.
HE [[ THE PARALYTIC ]] HAD A NEED AND JESUS MET IT.

LET'S TAKE A SIDE TRIP, JESUS SAID IN JOHN 6:63
6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
AND WHEN A BELIEVER SPEAKS THE WORD OF JESUS. THERE IS LIFE IN THE WORD OF GOD.

ANOTHER JESUS STORY
Matt 9:20 And suddenly, a woman who had a [[ flow of blood ]] for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. (NKJ) SKIP TO VERSE 22
22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, "Be of good cheer, daughter; [[your faith]] has made you well." And [[the woman was made well from that hour]].
HERE AGAIN JESUS POINTS OUT HOW IMPORTANT FAITH IS." YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL."
THANK YOU FATHER FOR JESUS STORIES. DON'T THEY BUILD UP YOUR FAITH LEVEL TILL YOUR CUP ALMOST OVERFLOWS? PRAISE GOD!!

HERE GOES JESUS AGAIN
Matt 9:27 When Jesus departed from there, two BLIND MEN followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!"
28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this? " They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."
HERE WE GO WITH FAITH AGAIN. DO YOU THINK THE BLIND MEN WOULD CRY OUT TO HIM IF THEY THOUGHT JESUS COULDN'T DO, OR PERFORM IF YOU WILL, THE MIRACLE THEY NEEDED? MAY I SUGGEST TO YOU IT'S RATHER DOUBTFUL.
30a And [[ their eyes were opened. ]]

JESUS AGAIN
Matt 9:32 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him A MAN, MUTE and DEMON-POSSESSED.
33 And when the demon was cast out, [[ the mute spoke ]]. And the multitudes marveled, saying, "It was never seen like this in Israel!"

JUMP OVER TO JOHN FOR JUST A MOMENT. WE ARE COMING BACK TO MATTHEW I John 3:8b SAYS
8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
HOW MARVELOUS. THE DEVIL AND HIS IMPS GET THE BOOT.

BACK TO MATTHEW, WE WERE IN THE 9TH CHAPTER . LET'S GO TO THE 15TH CHAPTER DOWN TO VERSE 27
Matt 15:22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My [[ daughter ]] is severely [[ demon-possessed ]]."
Matt 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is [[[ your faith! ]]] Let it be to you as you desire." And [[ her daughter was healed ]] from that very hour.
THIS IS THE THIRD EXAMPLE WHERE JESUS POINTS OUT THAT FAITH WAS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR.

ANOTHER JESUS STORY
Matt 17:15 "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is [[ an epileptic ]] and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.
Matt 17:18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and [[ the child was cured ]] from that very hour.

NOW HERE IS ANOTHER STORY OF THE BLIND GETTING THEIR SIGHT
Matt 20:30 And behold, two [[[ blind men ]]] sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"
Matt 20:32 So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, "What do you want Me to do for you?"
33 They said to Him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 So [[ Jesus had compassion ]] and touched their eyes. And immediately their [[ eyes received sight ]], and they followed Him.
TAKE NOTE -- DOES JESUS WANT TO SEE PEOPLE INCOMPLETE OR SUFFERING FROM SICKNESS AND DISEASE? IT SAYS HERE QUOTE "JESUS HAD COMPASSION"
WE SERVE A COMPASSIONATE CARING GOD!

NEXT GOSPEL MARK ANOTHER JESUS STORY
Mark 1:23 Now there was a [[ man ]] in their synagogue with an [[ unclean spirit ]]. And he cried out,
24 saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are-- the Holy One of God!"
25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!"
26 And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, [[ he came out of him. ]]
THERE WAS A NEED AND JESUS MET THE NEED

JESUS -THIS NEXT MAN RECEIVED A DOUBLE HEALING
Mark 7:32 Then they brought to Him one who was [[ deaf ]] and had an [[ impediment in his speech ]], and they begged Him to put His hand on him.
Mark 7:35 Immediately [[ his ears were opened ]], and the [[ impediment of his tongue was loosed ]] and he spoke plainly.
JESUS NEVER STOPPED WORKING. HE KEPT RIGHT ON GOING DAY AFTER DAY. CONVICTING. IF JESUS IS OUR EXAMPLE, AND HE IS, WE SHOULD NEVER STOP PRAYING FOR PEOPLE.

OK THAT WAS THE DEAF MAN. NOW ANOTHER BLIND MAN
Mark 8:22 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a [[ blind man ]] to Him, and begged Him to touch him.
Mark 8:25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and [[ saw ]] everyone [[ clearly ]].

IS ANY PROBLEM TOO BIG FOR GOD TO DO? .... NO, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES NO ....
THE WORSHIP SONG GOES LIKE THIS "NOTHINGS TO BIG FOR MY GOD NO NO NO NO".........
NOTHING IS TO DIFFICULT FOR THEE ..... GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD GREAT IN COUNSEL AND MIGHTY IN DEED NOTHING NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ETC .. ENOUGH OF THIS

LET'S GO TO THE BOOK OF LUKE SEVENTH CHAPTER ANOTHER JESUS STORY
Luke 13:11 And behold, there was a [[ woman ]] who had a [[ spirit of infirmity ]] eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.
12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity."
13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately [[ she was made straight ]], and glorified God.
I LIKE THAT WORD IMMEDIATELY. WE SERVE AN IMMEDIATE GOD.

THE LAYING ON OF HANDS ISN'T JUST NEW TESTAMENT STUFF
Deut 34:9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.

JESUS AGAIN
Luke 14:2 And behold, there was a certain [[ man ]] before Him who [[ had dropsy ]].

4 But they kept silent. And He took him and [[ healed him ]], and let him go.

JESUS HEALED THE TEN LEPERS
Luke 17:12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were [[ lepers ]], who stood afar off.
13 And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, [[ they were cleansed ]].

JESUS - LET'S MOVE TO THE NEXT GOSPEL
John 4:46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose [[ son was sick ]] at Capernaum.
47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.
John 4:50 Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.
51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, "[[ Your son lives! ]]"
THERE WAS A NEED AND JESUS MET IT.

John 5:5 Now a certain [[ man ]] was there who had an [[ infirmity ]] thirty-eight years.
John 5:8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk."
9 And immediately the [[ man was made well ]], took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

TAKE NOTE BELIEVERS HAVE P. O. A. >> IN MY NAME >> JESUS SAID "IN MY NAME "IN MY NAME"
Mark 16:18 "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; [[ they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." ]]
AGAIN TAKE NOTE "THEY WILL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK AND THEY WILL RECOVER"

GOD LOVES YOU AND HE WILL MAKE A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY. IN THE LORD'S PRAYER
Matt 6:10 Your kingdom come. [[ Your will ]] [[ be done on earth ]] as it is in heaven.
JESUS SAID THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. IT IS NOT GOD'S WILL THERE BE SICK PEOPLE IN HEAVEN AND IT'S NOT HIS WILL THAT THERE BE SICK PEOPLE HERE ON EARTH.

PETER
Acts 3:2 And a certain [[[ man lame ]]] from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;
Acts 3:2 THE NIV SAYS IT THIS WAY. BY THE WAY SO FAR THE VERSES HAVE BEEN FROM (NKJ)
2 Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
REMEMBER NOW HE WAS BORN THIS WAY. THEY CARRIED HIM DAILY TO THE TEMPLE GATE.
Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: [[ In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."]]
PETER IS USING THE SAME WORDING OF THE GREAT COMMISSION JESUS GAVE US. IN THE NAME OF JESUS
Acts 3:7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 So [[ he ]], leaping up, stood and [[ walked ]] and entered the temple with them -- walking, leaping, and praising God.
Acts 4:22 For the man was over [[ forty years old ]] on whom this miracle of healing had been performed.
THIS GUY HAS BEEN THIS WAY FORTY YEARS. THINK ABOUT IT.
Acts 5:12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch.
ALL THE SIGNS AND WONDERS THAT WERE DONE HAVEN'T BEEN RECORDED.
Acts 5:16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and [[ they were all healed.]]
NOT SOME BUT ALL. HOW WONDERFUL. PRAISE THE LORD!!

PHILIP
Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.
6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and [[ many ]] who were [[ paralyzed and lame were healed ]].
8 And there was great joy in that city.
WHEN PEOPLE ARE HEALED, DELIVERED AND SET FREE, NOT ONLY ARE THEY HAPPY BUT IT BRINGS JOY TO EVERYONE OF US.
PETER
Acts 9:32 Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.
33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.
34 And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, [[ Jesus the Christ heals you ]]. Arise and make your bed." Then [[ he arose immediately ]].
35 So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
EVERY ONE AROUND KNOWS THIS MAN HAS BEEN BEDRIDDEN FOR A LONG TIME. THAT MIRACLE MADE BELIEVERS OUT OF A LOT OF PEOPLE. DO YOU THINK THIS GOING TO HAPPEN IN GODS END TIME MOVE?

WE READ ABOUT PETER AND THE MAN WHO NEVER WALKED BEFORE. NOW LET'S LOOK AT ANOTHER SIMILAR INSTANCE. THIS TIME GOD IS USING - PAUL -
Acts 14:8 And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked.
9 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,
10 said with a loud voice, "Stand up straight on your feet!" And [[ he ]] leaped and [[ walked ]].

NOW BACK UP TO ACTS THE 4TH CHAPTER THE 13TH VERSE
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
SO WE ARE TOLD ABOUT MIRACLES AND AS PEOPLE SAW THESE THINGS THEY TURNED TO THE LORD. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THIS END TIME MOVE? GOD HAS TOLD US THAT THIS END TIME MOVE IS GOING TO BE GREATER THAN ANYTHING EVER SEEN ON EARTH BEFORE.

JESUS COMMISSIONED BELIEVERS
THAT IS YOU AND I FOLKS!
